Band-in-a-Box® Hybrid Style Sample Note that the StylePicker lists styles, not songs. Styles do not include chord progressions or melody, but can be used to create new songs in a style similar to the chosen title song. You can play with the included songs all you want (it would take over a month to listen just to one variation of each!) and this can be instructive. But when you are ready to create new music, there are a number of ways to go. We’ll start with the most ‘automatic’ tools that anyone can use, even if you don’t know a major sixth from a diminished seventh chord. After much delay, PG Music released Band in a Box 2015 for Mac last week. Whoohoo! Here are some of the new features: Fixed: StylePicker was sometimes picking the wrong style if a filter was in place. Fixed: When importing an audio file using the Audio Import dialog, and the file contains tempo data, Audio Master (Base) Tempo is always changed to the file’s tempo regardless if the user cancels the dialog or unchecks ’Set Audio Master (Base) Tempo to ’. Fixed: The chord sheet did not work properly with keyboard layouts other than US.

Fixed: Bar Settings volume range title ’(-127 +127)’ visibility was random.
Fixed: Build number wasn’t showing correctly in some places.
Backing tracks can sound even better by using RealTracks and RealDrums, which use audio recordings of top studio musicians, instead of the usual MIDI tracks. You get over 400 hours of studio musicians` recordings that you can use in your songs!
Fixed: It was not possible to enter note-based lyrics if the Notation Window was floating.
